Overview

ItsLifeInsurance ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent life insurance lead-generation and referral service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or request a quote, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to ask us to stop.

We are a referral service, not a government agency. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government program.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. Our quote form asks for five things: your name, phone number, email address, state, and age. If you contact us another way — by phone or email — we collect what you choose to tell us, including any message you send.

Information you give an agent later. To identify policies you may qualify for, a licensed agent will usually need more: your general health, coverage preferences, and budget. You give this to an agent directly, in conversation. It is not collected by this website.

Information collected automatically. If you accept cookies, we and our advertising partner may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view on this site, the page that referred you, and the approximate location that an IP address implies. If you decline, this collection does not occur and the site works exactly the same.

Information we do not collect. We do not ask for your Social Security number, financial account details, or medical records through this website. Insurance carriers conduct their own medical underwriting directly with you, under their own privacy policies.

To service your policy afterwards, including renewals and claims questions

Calls, Texts, and Marketing Consent

When you submit your phone number through our quote form, you give express written consent for ItsLifeInsurance and its licensed advisors to call and text you at that number about life insurance — including through an automated telephone dialing system or a prerecorded or artificial voice — for marketing purposes.

This consent is not a condition of purchase. You can obtain insurance through us without agreeing to automated contact. Call us instead and tell us so.

Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message. To stop calls, tell the advisor on any call, or email us at the address below and ask to be added to our internal do-not-call list.

We keep a record of the exact consent wording you were shown, the date and time you submitted it, and the page you submitted it from, because insurance and telemarketing rules require us to be able to produce it.

Information Sharing

We share your information with:

Licensed insurance advisors working with or for ItsLifeInsurance, who need it to review your situation and speak with you.
Insurance carriers, when you ask us to seek a quote or submit an application. Once your information reaches a carrier, that carrier's own privacy policy governs what they do with it.
Service providers who operate parts of our business under contract. These include our website host and the service that routes form submissions to us. Each is bound to use your information only to provide that service to us.
Advertising platforms, if you accepted cookies, limited to the event data the advertising pixel collects.
Legal and regulatory bodies, where required by law, subpoena, or a state insurance regulator.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not sell or transfer leads to other agencies or brokers. If this ever changes, we will update this policy before it takes effect and give you a way to opt out first.

Cookies and Tracking

The banner shown on your first visit is a real choice, not a formality.

Advertising and analytics cookies — including the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel — do not load unless you click Accept. Choosing Decline blocks them entirely, and costs you no site functionality.

We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we know not to ask again. It contains nothing but a record of whether you accepted or declined.

If you accept and later change your mind, clearing your browser's site data for this domain resets the choice and the banner reappears. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

Targeted Advertising and Your Choices

Loading the advertising pixel constitutes targeted advertising under several state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time by:

Adjusting ad personalization settings directly in your Meta account
Emailing us to request that we stop processing your information for advertising

Health Information

This website does not ask for health information. If you describe your health to an agent by phone or email, we use it only to identify plans you may qualify for and to estimate pricing, and we treat it as confidential.

We do not sell health information, share it for advertising, or use it for any purpose other than helping you obtain coverage. Residents of states with specific consumer health data laws, including Washington and Nevada, may contact us at the address below to exercise rights relating to this information.

How Long We Keep Information

If you become a client, we retain your records for as long as your policy is active and afterwards for as long as state insurance record-keeping rules require, generally at least five years.

If you request a quote and do not become a client, we retain the inquiry for up to 24 months so an advisor can follow up at your next renewal window, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Data Security

Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. We limit access to your information to the advisors and staff who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may ask us at any time to:

Tell you what personal information we hold about you
Provide a copy of it
Correct anything inaccurate
Delete it, where we are not legally required to retain it
Stop contacting you
Stop processing your information for advertising

Email info@itslifeinsurance.com or call the number below. We will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you and will not treat you differently for asking.

If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our response. We will decide any appeal within 45 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or a comparable state statute. We honor these requests from residents of every state regardless of whether a particular law applies to us.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Where you give an advisor a dependent child's age as part of a family coverage inquiry, we collect it from you as the parent or guardian and use it only to estimate and arrange coverage for your household. If you believe a child has provided information to us directly, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information we have already collected from you, we will notify you directly before it takes effect.
